I am a local rap artist and i just wanted to pass on a few tips to other local artist trying to get there name out there. One thing that worked really well for me was recording in different studios across your state. Once they hear you and if you nice they will F$%k with you. Another thing is passing out your music, promo cds and pamphlets are also a great way to get your name out there. Even if its free promotion it is a great avenue to use when trying to get your name thumpin.
